When somebody asks how we are, we may often say that we are busy as if that is a good thing.
I would like to suggest that not being busy is a good thing.
However, unless we are on holiday it feels difficult to justify not being busy.
And even on holiday many people book up each day with so many activities that there is no down time.
You may be perfectly happy and contented with all your activities, but if you feel that something is lacking why not try simplifying your life for just a week or two. If you just carry on doing what you normally do, things will never change. For anything to change there needs to be a catalyst.
Cut down on social engagements and postpone anything that isn't important. Just try two weeks of only doing the essentials and give yourself as much breathing space as you can.
And as the clutter from your mind starts to disappear your thoughts will become clear.
Allow peace to enter and your life will be refreshed.
