I hear happy squeals of delight.
I hear laughter.
I hear shrieking.
Joyful carefree children.

Their only thoughts are to play.
To have fun.
To run around.
To chase.
To kick a ball.
To chat.
To sing.
They are so happy.
Entirely in the moment.
No thoughts of yesterday
or tomorrow.
Pure joy.
I  love living by
the playground.
Everyday I am reminded,
how fortunate we are.
Children are young people.
We are all people.
We must never forget the joy
of carefree play.
Pop by your local school today
around lunchtime,
and remember
how you were.
You are in for a treat.
We must never forget.

Thich Nhat Hanh

Mindfulness is the energy of being aware and awake to the present moment.
It is the continuous practice of touching life deeply in every moment of daily life. To be mindful is to be truly alive, present and at one with those around you and with what you are doing. We bring our body into harmony while we wash the dishes, drive the car or take our morning shower.
