Then pop it in an envelope with your name and address on it and a stamp.
Now please post it in your nearest postbox.
I am writing to you to say that I feel you have been neglecting me somewhat, and I would like you to give me the love and respect that I so deserve.
You are so good at putting everyone else first, and therefore neglecting me somewhat. I would like you to make me a priority as of today.
This isn't about suddenly becoming selfish or self centred.
This is purely about taking good care of all of me.
This is about you giving love and attention to my mind, body and soul.
I feel that for too long now you have neglected me and I am feeling quite drained and even fed up.
I want you to think of me as you would a neglected child who has been abandoned. I want you to show me love by listening to me and giving me some precious time. I want you to feed me with healthy nourishing food. I want you to give me plenty of exercise. I want you to give my mind something stimulating to think about. And perhaps most importantly, I want you to feed my soul.
Allow me time with nature and take me somewhere special, just for me.
Treat me with love and respect and gratitude.
That is all I ask of you.
The better you look after me the more able and willing I will be to take care of others, and the happier and more at peace I will be.
Mindfulness is the energy of being aware and awake to the present moment. It is the continuous practice of touching life deeply in every moment of daily life. To be mindful is to be truly alive, present and at one with those around you and with what you are doing. We bring our body into harmony while we wash the dishes, drive the car or take our morning shower.
